Me pretending to be a bug exterminated. Mixed with my sray. Wav file using pitch bend, tempo and noise reduction. Recorded on conexant smart audio with at2020 usb mic and processed with audacity.
3 gal. Bucket with a sony voice recorder placed on the inside. Edited with sony sound forge, eq to get rid of the crappy voice recorder sounds and added time compress 85% of original, bend pitch and reverse on end. Also added stereo pan.
A solo violin sample from edirol orchestral was used a base, using pitch bend and then layering against pitch shifted copies of the original. Then lots and lots and lots of reverb and maybe other effects. I spent way too long on this for no certain outcome but actually it was perfect for the radio drama i was theoretically producing it for.
I was trying to make some fx you can hear in enigma’s tracks (for example ‘the eyes of truth’). Made with audition. P. S. Maybe it’d be a better sound if you listen to a downloaded file.
